  • “Everything can be taken from a man but one thing: the last of human freedoms, to choose one’s attitude in any given set of circumstances. To choose one’s own way. ”

    Viktor E. Frankl

  • “If suffering is ubiquitous in life, the withdrawal from and avoidance of suffering is accordingly the withdrawal from and avoidance of life".

    Kelly G. Wilson

  • "It is never too late to be what you might have been."

    George Eliot

  • "Thought is subversive and revolutionary, destructive and terrible, thought is merciless to privilege, established institutions, and comfortable habits; thought is anarchic and lawless, indifferent to authority, careless of the well-tried wisdom of the ages. Thought looks into the pit of hell and is not afraid ... Thought is great and swift and free, the light of the world, and the chief glory of man".

    Bertrand Russell

  • “The best years of your life are the ones in which you decide your problems are your own. You do not blame them on your mother, the ecology, or the president. You realise that you control your own destiny.”

    Albert Ellis

  • “Science is not only compatible with spirituality; it is a profound source of spirituality. When we recognise our place in an immensity of light‐years and in the passage of ages, when we grasp the intricacy, beauty, and subtlety of life, then that soaring feeling, that sense of elation and humility combined, is surely spiritual".

    Carl Sagan
